The Return
Artistic re-entry for professionals who traded practice for stability.
The Problem
Thousands of talented artists across Nigeria and Africa abandoned serious creative practice for economic stability. Not because they lost interest — because they couldn't justify the time, the cost, or the perceived immaturity of continuing. The skill didn't disappear. The permission to use it did. And now, a decade into successful careers, many of them feel the absence acutely — but have no structured way back in.
Who It's For
Senior professionals in their 30s–50s — lawyers, architects, executives, doctors — who had significant creative practice before their careers absorbed them. Not beginners. People who once knew how to work.
What's Holding It Back
Needs a lead curriculum designer with both pedagogical training and serious artistic practice. Also needs a founding cohort of 8–12 participants willing to go through a pilot in exchange for a reduced rate and the right to shape the format.
Open to Collaborate
Looking for a co-facilitator with serious artistic training and teaching experience, and founding members for the pilot cohort.
